I’ve been playing the game of basketball since I was 4 years old. It is by far my favorite sport to play. I’ve gone through a number of basketball shoes from a variety of different brands. When I found out my favorite basketball player Dwyane Wade signed with Team Jordan, I was excited! As soon as the “Jordan Fly Wade’s” were released I knew I had to purchase these bad boys.
When it comes to basketball shoes you want to be able to fly around at ease. The Fly Wade comes in at a touch over 13 ounces, which makes it the lightest Jordan basketball shoe ever! (A title held briefly by the Air Jordan 2011 at 14.6 ounces.) The Fly Wade simply feels like an added attachment to the foot; therefore, I lose no seconds when cutting and moving laterally in this shoe. Jordan Brand did a great job of balancing the Jordan Fly Wade’s capacity with a durable, pressure-resistant fit. The Fly Wade possesses a very close-to-the foot fit and specializes in extreme impact protection. In the past I developed blisters on my toes from playing too much basketball, especially from Adidas basketball shoes. With the Fly Wade’s I’ve never had a problem with blisters even after 3 hours of basketball.
These shoes have excellent grip for indoor or outdoor basketball play. The weight seems to be distributed perfectly, and with an asymmetrical collar, a sense of protection with the freedom of movement is felt. Running is very fluid, as the toe flexes through the leather synthetic with ease.
With a standard shape, the Fly Wade looks like an everyday basketball shoe. I bought them in black and I have to say they look pretty bad-ass, especially since it’s rocking that Jordan logo. Subtle details of the shoe include the asymmetric collar and heel, perforation hole pattern on the upper, as well as a flaring outrigger.
It is only fitting (no pun intended) that the best basketball player in the world has the best pair of basketball shoes I ever had the pleasure of wearing. Yes I said it, the Fly Wade’s are the greatest pair of basketball kicks I’d ever owned. If you are looking for basketball shoes with a very light feel, excellent support and comfort, that will help step your game up; purchase a pair of Fly Wade’s!

The only question is how much?
They were around $140 when I bought them, now that there’s a Wade Fly II, you should be able to get these for a lot cheaper.
